Leopold Maurer

Leopold Maurer was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1969. He studied sociology at Vienna University, before going on to study painting and graphic art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Since 1998, he has been a freelance artist, working on projects spanning animation, cartoons, comic books and illustration. He is a member of the comic book group Mixer and lives and works in Vienna and Trautmannsdorf, Austria.
