We’re delighted to announce that the Literary Dinners team have been working hard behind the scenes to organise an amazing pop-up restaurant themed around the hotly-anticipated Nao of Brown by Glyn Dillon.
The dinner will be held at Orange Dot Gallery in Blomsbury, London on the evening of 22nd September in association with the lovely people at Foyles. Places at this ‘one night only’ pop up is now open for bookings and it will sell out fast.
So if you’d like to experience a graphic novel in edible form with Glyn in conversation with Jessica Hynes, you need to act fast. The full menu of Nao-themed delights will be announced via the Literary Dinner ‘Monthly Menu’ in the coming weeks, which you can subscribe to here.
Here’s the blurb from the good folks at Literary Dinners:
Step into the pages of an extraordinary new graphic novel with Literary Dinners, as we get involved in a rather colourful tale of love, life and murderous thoughts.
Author and artist Glyn Dillon will transform the Orange Dot Gallery into the alternate reality of his forthcoming graphic novel, The Nao of Brown, a story of one woman’s search for that most elusive love – perfect love. Join us to dine on delicacies that pay tribute to the novel’s Japanese influences, as we bring you a multi-course, multi-taste banquet menu of Godzilla-sized proportions.
Our resident maitre d’graphique will be on hand with speech bubbles to guide guests through the evening’s novel entertainment, plus special guest Jessica Hynes will be talking with Glyn about his extraordinary work over a fortune cookie or two.
For an extra 10% off The Nao of Brown and free P&P, enter “NAO10″ at the checkout on the Foyles website.
Tickets include a multi-course meal and literary entertainment. Vegetarian option available.
