What you’ll be eating at tomorrow’s Popeye launch (no prizes for guessing the main ingredient)

We’re pleased to announced that you’ll be able to get your chops round the following tasty dishes at tomorrow’s Popeye Cookbook launch at the truly remarkable bookshop, Books For Cooks in Notting Hill. The award-winning cookery author, Josephine Bacon, will be cooking these dishes live Books For Cooks bookshop kitchen.

> Spinach Munkaczina

> Popeye’s Italian style spinach

> Olive Oyl’s spinach and Shellfish salad

> Yorkshire Parkin

> Spinach à la mode (that’s dessert by the way!)

Popeye and SelfMadeHero request the pleasure of your company at a reception to celebrate the launch of the Popeye Cookbook at 6.30pm tomorrow.

Guests will meet and be entertained by guests of honour Popeye the Sailorman and Olive Oyl. You are welcome to bring guests and Popeye fans, young and old.
