Mojito Monday – The Castro launch at Foyles

As we all know, Monday night is the new Thursday night, which in itself is the new Friday night. Next Monday is also American Independence Day!

So what better way to spend Monday 4th July is there, than spending it with SelfMadeHero in Foyles Bookshop Gallery, Charing Cross Road for the launch of Reinhard Kleist’s graphic biography of Fidel Castro.

The SelfMadeHero will be mixing some mean mojitos a you listen to some Cuban tunes, selected by the author, Reinhard Kleist and that iPod shuffler, DJ Emmanem.

If that isn’t enough you’ll hear Reinhard in conversation with comics supremo Paul Gravett as an official part of the COMICA Festival and have the chance to pick up a sketched copy of Castro or Johnny Cash with a complimentary Castro art print by Reinhard.

You are welcome to bring along guests, but remember to RSVP to as this is a private event. Alternatively, let us know you are attending via the Facebook event page.

We’d like to thank the Goethe Institut for their support of this event.

CASTRO by Reinhard Kleist is published by SelfMadeHero
and is available from our online store and from all good independent comic and bookshops nationwide from 4th July.
